感恩節篇-So Thai So Good

This is my first time literally talking about hang out places or dining places in general.  But I think this time, So Thai So Good is worth mentioning for the good times they gave us.

There's always a MUST-HAVE a reason between the 3 of us to meet up so far during these 4 times we've seen each other in 2016.  Started off with our first meet up on 30 June when the next day was 1 Jul (the public holiday for Handover). then so on.... we continued to meet up for different festivals within a year, even Hong Kong and UK had never considered Thanksgiving as public holiday or a festival in their cultures.

這真是我第一次打關於餐廳, 蒲點的博文呀, 但這一次, So Thai So Good 真是值得一提, 因為我真的很感激這地方能給我們快樂的一聚

這一年, 我們3個見面了4次, 這4次, 就是總有要見面開心一聚的原因... 由6月30號見面, 慶祝回歸(笑左)之後, 我們陸續的見面都是同節日有關係, 

But we made Thanksgiving a celebration between 3 of us.  

Thanksgiving for our friendship, laughters each meet up and exchanging lovely presents.

甚至香港和英國都是不一定會慶祝感恩節也好, 我們約了的一天都是感恩節的前一天....

感恩我們3個的友誼, 每次見到的笑聲交換小禮物..

Check out what we ordered from the menu: I remember what they were but unfortunately... Translating every piece in between Chinese and English is honestly very hectic.... But we've ordered the Signature dish such as the "Pomelo Salad with Deep Fried Camalari" (泰式金柚沙律配魷魚) and our top favourite Cheese wedges 芝士薯角

During the night, I decided to pick a table that's low profile enough for us to swap gifts.  But in fact, we weren't the only group who were swapping presents between us as the other 2 tables were swapping presents.

當時, 我是選了一張較低調的餐枱交換禮物, 但交換禮物的真的不只是我們...還有我們附近兩枱的OL們都有一樣交換禮物

For once, we can stay in the same place for dinner, dessert and swapping presents!  But we were the last to leave, the waiters probably were really mad at us.

我們終於都不用轉場的一次過吃飯,吃甜品,交換禮物,但都是最後一班離開的客人.... 我猜服務員一定很生氣呢...

Not everything I bought from Japan were all for myself, souvenirs for Jennifer and birthday presents for Alice are always well prepared.  I promise I will blog about the eyeliner Jennifer got me and the nail stickers Alice got me.

今次分享已經是我第2回用這個脫毛神器，用的感想是我真的覺得幾分鐘的時間就能解決我多年來不能解決而不段被取笑的問題，而且只是大約HKD150左右能解決的問題

This is actually my 2nd time experience removing hair with this Smooth Away scrub.  I can't believe it only took just a matter of minutes to solve the long term problem I had for years.  And it's not expensive either!

朗朗- 奶類護膚系列 (Ronron's skincare regime with 'milk')

Recently, I just love all those things skincare that smell of milk, milk textures, even with milk essence!  People tend to expect milk skincare as most likely to do with whitening, for softer supple skin, so what should I expect when I use milk for cleansing, exfoliating and the masks made of 2 different kinds of milk?!

First, starting from a cleanser- Beauty Buffet Scentio Milk Plus from Thailand.  I use this as my daily cleanser, I love it as a night time cleanser especially after a long hectic day at work.  I felt this product has the characteristic of soothing every time I use it and I love the smell as well.

很多人對奶類護膚品要求就是美白, 期望皮膚更柔軟, 那用奶類來清潔, 去角質, 敷面膜的我該期待甚麼?

首先就是這個泰國牌子的 Beauty Buffet- Scentio Milk Plus.  這是我日常用的洗面牛奶泡, 但我比較喜歡夜用-尤其是下班最累的時侯, 因為這產品給我的感覺就是舒緩, 還有,我很喜歡聞這味道的...

The pink exfoliator scrub from the same brand- OMG, I am a total exfoliate addict, especially when I can rub old skins out the way!  I've also took pictures of myself after I removed my makeup and started exfoliating until I rinsed off the flakes to show the results.  I know the beauty mode on my phone may be automatic but the truth comes from the flakes on my skin as that I am already showing the differences.

Milk mask (IMIIX) & Goat Milk Mask (About Me):

Actually, I really have never tried any milk masks before, but I would know they have whitening as the characteristic.

On 6 Nov, I've tried the goat milk mask out of my curiosity before I sleep. But since I couldn't sleep well, I would think that I wouldn't look goid enough to meet Jovan and Britney...

Learning from the research I've done, goat milk has the characteristics as recovery and whitening.  It's sad but true that I still get dull skin after having enough sleep...Luckily, the goat milk mask literally saved me from the dull skin I hate most and I even woke up with a dewy complexion the next day.  Therefore, this maak is suitable for anyone who sleeps late but still preys for beautiul skin like me

牛奶面膜 (IMIIX) & 羊奶面膜 (About Me)- 其實我真的沒有試過奶造的面膜, 但我大約知道的是奶造的面膜都是美白功效...

11月6日- 下了班之後真的很累, 但仍想睡前敷一次面膜, 好奇心重的我真的試用了羊奶面膜

但也沒法子睡得好, 所以也很擔心第二天約會我的女神姊妹們看起來欠佳了....

在我搜查的知識之下,原來羊奶膜是有修護,美白的功效, 雖然我常常都說: 有足夠的睡眠都不能改善暗啞, 但是... 幸好的是這羊奶面膜就是拯救了我暗啞皮膚的問題, 翌日皮膚看起來還有光擇的, 真的很適合"晚睡但愛美"的我...

On 9 Nov, this was my first time using the milk mask of IMIIX, I had the feeling as after having Mesowhite injection treatment (recovery in progress). So I tend to have a better imoression of the goat milk mask... But my skin literally got better after trying these products for blogging as my complexion has became more dewy.  However I surely like this mask because of the mask sheet texture is thick and it just makes me feel the tightness with my skin while absorbing every bit of the essence.

結婚第2週年東京之旅- Happy 2 years wedding anniversary

19/10~24/10: 六天日本為你準備，我們今年的結婚週年紀念10月20日就是跟老公在日本東京慶祝， 19號早上出發到了日本後，一心只想輕鬆素顏的準備最佳狀態拍照留下今年美好的回憶，及準備誤打誤撞而有驚喜的心情

We've spent 6 days in Tokyo to celerate our wedding anniversary.

The actual date of our wedding anniversary is 20 Oct, we've started our trip the day before, and make the best preparation I could to settle down first and hope to take lots of good photos, just to make sure every moment is beautifully memorable and also the upcoming surprises.

20/10- 第二週年快樂！ 我們去的地方有東京駅，銀座，築地

Happy 2 years at Chiyoda, Ginza and Tsukiji

我們找到的驚喜有從東京駅去銀座的路途找到了老公英文名字的酒吧，

還有是從銀座一路的走去築地路途中休息的下午茶地方： 浜離宮恩賜庭園

On our way from Chiyoda to Tsukiji, we've found Nelson's Bar which really made my husband happy.  Then as we set off from Ginza and walking to Tsukiji, we had a traditional japnaese afternoon tea at Hama Rikyu Garden.

21/10- 淺草，秋葉原

我期待了很久的是人生第一次著上和服的一天， 每天還在想像自己第一次穿的和服會是甚麽樣子，我這個再貪靚的女漢子除了擁有的口紅及內衣可以接受粉紅色，幾乎真的沒有喜歡的粉紅色，竟然老公在場之下就為我選了粉紅色的和服

21/10- Asakusa, Akihabra

I've been waiting for the moment of my first time kimono experience for so long that I imagine everyday of what my first kimono would look like all the time.

I'm quite a boyish girl, so my acceptance to pink was limited for lipsticks and lingerie items only.  But Nelson picked me a kimono in pink, oh my god!

At the temple, people took photos of me like I were a celebrity.

老公也替了一個穿了和服的台灣美女拍照，我看得出她真的很喜歡老公為她拍照， 如果美女早一點告訴我，我當然樂意給您們合照一幅好看的照片，還要影得好看才能放美女走吧（在香港的我，一定會吃醋到跟老公吵架到地震了，哈哈）
Nelson helped a beautiful stranger to take photos of her in kimono and it was an obvious instinct I have was she liked Nelson to take pictures for her, in fact probably more. If she asked, I'm really most happy to take photos of them both for her and it has to look good before she leaves (Normally in HK, I would've been so mad at Nelson and argue until the ground shakes)

交還了和服後，我和老公就一起到了秋葉原，從那一刻開始，我要shopping的精神病開始發作了，老公就在這一天很有效率的買好了給同事們的手信，我會在下一篇分享我為自己買了甚麽，希望亦能給大家分享我買了給同事，閨蜜們的生日禮物，手信吧

After returning the kimono, Nelson & I headed off to Ahkibara. From then, my shopping disorders are coming up.  Nelsin also managed to make his souvenir shopping very efficient for his coworkers. Well, for me, I will share shoppings in my upcoming blog entries.

22/10- 澀谷，原宿，新宿

第4天，到我大出血了！ 不停不停買買買，但全部都是給同事 & 閨蜜們的手信，老公亦當然找到能滿足自己的地方，包括是他最愛的Under Amour (澀谷）同Nike store （原宿）,拍照了店中display 的23號 (我不知代表甚麽的）

22/10： Shibuya, Harajuku and Shijuku

On the 4th day, I couldn't stop shopping, but it was all for coworkers and bffs.  Luckily, Nelson has found his favourite shops Under Armour (Shibuya) and Nike (Harajuku) where he took the no.23 (Got no idea what no.23 stands for though).

而我就在澀谷與原宿之間的公園中的市集找到了我自己的滿足感： 市集找到的禮物為手信

For me, I've found a flea market in a park betwwen Shibuya and Harajuku for my own satisfaction, bought 2 necklaces as souvenirs (one for Jen and one for my mother in law).

24/10： 臨回香港的最後一刻前，我和老公就爭取了最後在日本的一刻參觀在我們酒店對面的晴空塔，我們還去了晴空塔裡的水族館，真的很近距離的跟企鵝合照，很可愛呀！！我會努力完成晴空塔的影片給大家分享吧！

24/10- Just before leaving vack to Hong Kong, Nelson and I spent the very last moment to look around the Sky Tree Tower as this attraction is just opposite side of our hotel.  In the Sky Tree tower, we've also took a tour in the aquarium of where I find very cute penguins.

A video of our visit in the Sky Tree is in progress, will work hard on it.

Coup D'eclat Ampoules 妝前補濕精華

There are some facts about why I need this product to secure long lasting makeup daily.  I highly recommend those who may have dehydrated skin or having issues with foundation getting oxidized.

- In real life, I am a front line staff in a luxury department store.  Therefore, the first impression from customers come from grooming standards.

- I am a combined skin person, dehydrated at worse.  My skin condition is pretty much affected by the atmosphere and pressure, my makeup fades off by the end of the day and I tend to look awfully tired by day end.  

- In Summer, my skin becomes oily.  In Winter, my skin becomes coarse/dry.  So basically, when my skin is under pressure, super ugly acnes will pop out and bother me!

Each package contains 12 capsules, each capsule are for 1-2 days usage before applying foundation.  I use 1 capsule 1 day... but I'm trying to leave at least 4 for my trip in Tokyo.

What I love most about this mask are the gel-textured sheet and the scent since I love the smell of green apple as always!  The mask gave me the comfortable feeling I love as I love the tightening reaction between my skin and the mask.

I tend to have the habbit of pampering my skin with masks before I sleep, especially this one since I am very impressed with the result I see the next morning- Radiance!!!

Timeless Truth-魚子精華純芙棉面膜

對抗老化， 幫助疲憊肌膚補充所需能量

對我來說， 這面膜是能日或夜用

但我覺得有最佳效果的用家不是我，反而是老公呢 (老公是中性皮膚）！

為了10月1號叔仔婚禮做主人家的重要角色以最佳狀態喝新人倒的茶，我迫了老公前一晚及早上一起床都要敷一次，因為他說他的要求就是抗皺，給肌膚活力的效果

給他婚禮前的晚上及新郎新娘敬酒前敷了面膜，結果是看見了他肌膚很有光澤，充滿能量的！

Timeless truth: Caviar Rejuvenating Pure Cotton mask

Characteristics: Anti-aging, skin energizer

To me, this mask is applicable both day & night

But from experience, I might not be have the best results after using but Nelson has the instant results after using it.

I've forced Nelson to use this mask just the night before his brother's wedding, Nelson's request was on anti-wrinkle and energizing skin.  Just before the new wed couple reached for us, there was an instant result of the glow on Nelson's skin that I think he was really looking ready to go!!

The only one I haven't tried in my life was the Squalene restorative mask, this one eventually became my favourite in the My Beauty Mask collections.

I love picking up the habit of using this mask before I go to work just for the result of suppleness with long lasting makeup for the day.  Besides, I think it is necessary to keep your skin moisturized as a preparation before taking the Mesowhite injection treatment.

9月小禮物篇/朗朗與美女們的故事- Gifts in September 2016/My stories with my Instragram beauties

這一個月所收的禮物全部都是值得一提的, 這一次的網誌包括了很多不同的精彩的故事, 大至上全部都是跟我instagram 最有關係的...其實我跟Jen 和Sylvia 都是在Instagram 認識的, 中間應該是沒有任何共通認識的朋友, 這一次網誌故事都是關於我跟其他的用戶怎樣成為了好朋友...

I totally felt that every little gift I received this month totally worth blogging, I believe there will be a lot of interesting stories in this blog entry.  Most of the stories are actually closely related to my Instagram in general as it was through Instagram that I've started knowng Jen and Sylvia without any mutual friends between any of us.  Well here's the story of how we all became good friends...

在她們三位美女之中, 我是認識Sylvia 在先, 剛好亦認識了一年了... 第一次是隨機看到她的帳戶就覺得她很漂亮, 亦沒想到她還會追蹤我的新照片, 沒想到一個那麼漂亮的陌生人會不停的找我聊天, 還有用讚美,欣賞的態度來鼓勵我每一件事情呢

Out of Alice, Sylvia  and Jen, the first lady I've started to talk to was Sylvia on Instragram.  It's a year that we've known each other.  I remember it was a very random moment that I found her account and thought that she was beautiful!  I actually never thought of her following back and liking my new updates, in the end, I couldn't even imagine that she would chat with me more than my expectations... and always encourage me with her compliments!

最快樂的事情就是認識了一年後我們終於第一次見面, 還要是剛好我要跟老公慶祝他成功戒煙一週年了, 因為是中秋節,我覺得最快樂的是, 來自台灣的Sylvia 來找我是為了給我們兩夫妻很多快樂的回憶在我們人生, 很多事情真的很值得感激

The happiest thing ever is that we finally met for the first time after knowing 1 year.  In a co-incidence, it's also the first anniversary Nelson has successfully quit smoking.  I just felt that Sylvia has came to celebrate and share this happiness during this Mid-Autumn festival.  Therefore I've got more than I can say to express my appreciation!!

還有還要謝謝老公的同事們為了給老公請Sylvia 下午茶的機會而給他破例為他爭取比平時的時間早了下班, 所以我也有把Sylvia 送我的糖果給他們分享
I should never forget to thank Nelson's coworkers on the special exception they fought for him to finish off work earlier just to treat Sylvia and I the afternoon tea!  So I would share the candies Sylvia gave me to his coworkers, just to show some appreciation in return.

我與Alice & Jennifer 的故事: 上一年,我在 My Happy Bird Workshop 看中了一個月亮頸鏈而開始認識Alice 的, 第一次見面時就是因為為了找生日禮物送給Sylvia而到了Alice 參與的市集而見面的, 因為我這個小小粉絲真的很喜歡她造的手作品, 買了禮物之後亦因為星期六日要上班就一直沒有機會交給她的....

Story of Alice, Jennifer and I: Last year, I've found a necklace I liked and started speaking to the admin of My Happy Bird Workshop (Alice).  Tt wasn't long before our first met as I became eager looking for Sylvia's birthday present at the time and looked for the events that My Happy Bird workshop participated- That's how I met Alice.  

Because I've always liked the accessories Alice has made, so I bought her a gift for the next time I visit her.... But as I do need to work on weekends, so I've never got the chance to give her gift...

但同樣今年的3月開始,我在Instagram看見老公帶了我到一個Jennifer 去過high tea 的地方一起吃brunch 而開始在Instagram 聊天... 一路想了很久哪時,亦想表示心意而買了見面禮物而約了Alice 一起收我送她的禮物之後而成為今天的好朋友

In March 2016, Nelson took me to a place for brunch in which Jennifer went for high tea previously, so we've started talking on Instagram.  For those months, we've always been talking about when we could meet.  With my courtesy meeting someone as my first time, I've also prepared my first met present for Jennifer and thought of Alice at the same time, so I've invited Alice to come and have a good time while I give her the present too... After that, we've been good friends from then....

巧合的是我們每次見面都是... 關於一些節日才見面, 第一次見是慶祝回歸, 之後是7夕... 還有這一次是我們的中秋節聚餐及提早慶祝Jennifer 生日.... Alice 送的是貝殼形的鏡,及Jennifer 亦在沖繩買了很可愛的小錢包, 沙瓶,杯墊給我和Alice...
而我, 第一次獻醜送了上次完成了的手作品給她們, 還有是每人都有一朵手造的布玫瑰花給她們

Every time the 3 of us meet are always for some festive reasons.  Our first met was on 1 July Handover, then it was the Chinese Valentine's Day.  This time is for Mid-Autumn Festival.
